Ja, das war schnell gelesen. Und es hätte sogar volle 5 Sterne haben können, wenn nicht noch ein Ende nach dem Ende gekommen wäre. Ich mein...nein, das war einfach zu viel. Das eine Ding das da passiert geht gar ned. Die die es gelesen haben, wissen was ich meine. Für den Rest - überzeugt euch selbst. Es ist es wert!
Insgesamt werde ich diese Serie vermissen. Es war ein ganz neues Erlebnis mit all dem Alien Zeugs. Und nachdem ich es nun beended habe, bin ich sogar etwas traurig. Aber ehrlich gesagt mochte ich Katy in den ersten Büchern viel lieber. Weniger von diesem Gesülze. Aber ich denke, das muss ich wohl akzeptieren.
Wie die Story endete war richtig cool. Ich hatte so etwas nie vermutet, wenn ich da z.B. an Band eins zurück denke.
Nun heißt es Abschied nehmen von einer der guten YA Serien - sie wäre perfekt mit weniger Romanze, aber das kommt nunmal als Grundrezept mit YA =P

Yeah...I was done fast with this. And it would have gotten a full star rating if not for the ending after the endings ending. No I mean...it was too much. That one thing happening then.
All in all, I will miss this series. It was something new with all the alien crap. And after finishing it today I am a bit sad. But...I honestly liked Kat more in the first few books, with less lovey dovey smoochi pooch. But I guess it is something I have to accept.
How the whole thing played out in the end was kinda cool. Would have never expected this after reading book one for example.
Goodbye to a good YA series - would be perfect with less romance, but I guess it simply comes with YA =P

Ich mag den Kerl nicht. Das Gesicht ist mir irgendwie...ich weiß auch nicht oO Eher zum in die Fresse schlagen als zum mögen ^^° Ich stell mir Daemon halt einfach gaaaanz anders vor.

Erst einmal...ja ich lebe noch. Ich habe nur zur Zeit wahnsinnig viel um die Ohren mit Lernen, meinen Hund ausbilden, Haus und Garten - ich komme einfach nicht so viel zum posten wie ich gerne möchte.

Ich denke ich bin auf nem Jennifer L. Armentrout trip oder sowas ähnlichem. In letzter Zeit lese ich irgendwie nur Bücher von ihr - und ich liebe jedes davon! Obwohl ich zugeben muss, dass es mir manchmal ein bisschen zu viel schmusischmusi smooch smooch ist. Aber sie baut das so schön in die Story ein, dass es mich nicht stark stört.

Dieses Buch habe ich vor kurzem für sehr wenig Geld bekommen. Allerdings hat mich das Cover etwas abgeschreckt, ich dachte es wäre ne totale Romanze, was ja nun gar nicht mein Ding ist. Aber dann hab ich angefangen und war ziemlich schnell gefesselt =)

Layla ist ein Halbdämon, Halbwarden (sowas wien Gargoyle) - Ärger ist also vorprogrammiert. Ihre Dämonenseite kann Seelen essen, ihre Gargoyle Seite würde lieber Dämonen töten und sie hasst obendrauf ihre dämonische Abstammung. Kein Vater, keine Mutter. Sie war ein Waisenkind bis die Warden sie aufgenommen haben und seitdem lebt sie bei ihnen. Sie hängt sehr viel mit Zayne rum, der wohl auf sie steht (uh oh...Liebesdreieckpanik). Nach der Schule markiert Sie Dämonen. Doch dann trifft sie Roth, ein seltsamer Dämon, der ihr zeigt, dass nicht alle Dämonen böse sind. Zumindest scheint es so. Sie lernt mehr über ihre Vergangenheit und alles wird plötzlich chaotisch. Offenes Ende - ich will wissen wie es weiter geht! Schon alleine wegen Bambi =D

I think I am on a Jennifer L. Armentrout run or something like that. Lately I am only reading her books - and I love them all. Even though there is a bit too much touchy touchy sparkly lovey dovey sometimes. She blends it in so nicely, that it doesn't bother me. I love her stories.
This one I got very cheap recently. The cover made me fear I bought a total romance crapstory. But then I started reading it and I got hooked really quick.
Layla is half demon half warden - bound to be trouble. Her demon side can eat souls, her warden side would rather kill demons and she hates her demon blood. No father, no mother she was a foster kid until the Wardens took her in and since then she lives with them. Hanging out with Zayne frequently that she seems to have a crush on (I sense a love triangle...) and tagging demons at night is her routine. Until she meets Roth, some weird demon that shows her that not all demons are entirely bad. Or so it seems at least. She learns more about her past and shit is going down to hell in no time (almost literally). Open ending - must know how it continues!

Irreführend...ich dachte echt ich hab n Liebestrutschitralala gekauft, war aber eher n Misch aus guter Fantasy und Loveydovey.

Wie die Vorgänger, finde ich Jennifer L. Armentrouts Bücher einfach fantastisch. Wer die vorhergehenden Bände noch nicht gelesen hat, sollte nicht weiterlesen, da sonst Spoiler etwas verraten könnten. Apollyon passiert kurz nachdem Alex als Apollyon erwacht und sie wieder vom Elixir genommen ist. Sie ist allerdings nicht mehr die, die sie einmal war. In diesem Band passiert nicht viel, aber was passiert wird die nachfolgenden Ereignisse stark beeinflussen.
Ich mochte Alex hier, sie wird endlich erwachsener, nicht mehr so unbedacht in ihren Aktionen. Es wird hier langsam ernst und das Ende scheint nahe. Meiner Meinung nach einer der stärksten Bände der Serie. Must Read!

Gigantisch! Ich mag alle Cover dieser Serie, aber das ist mein absoluter Favorit. Die Farben sind toll, die Blume ist toll, alles ist toll. Einfach wunderschön.

Ich liebe dieses Buch! Es war sehr kurz, perfekt für dne Sommer.
Reagon die eigentlich total von Onlinespielen gefesselt ist, natürlich heimlich, ist der Vizekapitän der Cheerleader an ihrer Schule. Heimlich spielt sie zu Hause ihr kleines Onlinegame mit ihrem besten online Freund, der zufälligerweise in ihre Stadt zieht. Und dann landet er auch noch auf ihrer Schule und wird leider zum neuen Opfer von Tawny, einer fiesen Schl* und Kapitän der Cheerleader. Es macht es nicht einfach, dass sie auch noch Reagans gute Freundin ist. Rea versucht zu verheimlichen, wer sie wirklich ist und erzählt Parker nicht, dass sie der Chara im Spiel ist, mit dem er eine Menge Zeit verbringt. Ärger ist dadurch natürlich vorgeplant.
Dieses Buch hat keinen tiefgründigen Hintergrund, es ist wirklich nur ein leichtes Sommerbuch. Aber ich habe es total geliebt, wahrscheinlich weil ich selber ein Gamer bin/war und gute Freunde online habe. Ich konnte mich gut in Rea hineinversetzen und habe ihr Dilemma komplett verstanden. Allerdings hätte sie mal etwas mehr Mut zeigen können und das nicht erst gegen Ende des Buchs.
5 Sterne und eine Empfehlung an alle Nerds da draußen ;D

I loved this book! It was a very short, perfect summer read.
Reagan who is totally into an online game, secretly of course, is the co-captain of the cheerleaders. Secretly she plays her little game with her best online friend, who happens to move to her town someday. And ends up in her school as the new main target of Tawny, the mean bitch caption of the cheerleaders. Trying to hide who Rea really is, she doesn't tell Parker, that she is the character in game that he is spending a lot of time with.
There isn't much about this book, it is a very light read. But I loved every bit of it, probably because I was into the online gaming myself and made really good friends there. I could really sympathize with Rea and I understood her dilemma fully. Though she should have manned up and "grown a backbone" and all those things earlier.
Full 5 stars! Recommended to all those nerds out there ;D

Passt perfekt! Die pinke Tastatur ist der Hammer - kein richtiges Gaming Girl würde sich sowas holen - aber da Rea ja niemanden sagen durfte, was sie so am PC macht...perfekte Tarnung.

Wie schreibt man eine paranormales YA Buch in ein paar simplen Schritten. Man nehme ein Mädchen mit Superkräften, natürlich weiß sie aber nichts davon. Dann werfe man einen "heißen" Typen mit rein (sehr cool wegen seiner Jeans und dem schwarzen T-shirt, das seine Muskeln leicht zeigt). Dann nehme man noch ein klitzekleines bisschen Zickenterror und beste Freunde gemischt mit ein paar Geheimnissen. Man darf natürlich nicht vergessen eine grooooße Portion Liebe auf den ersten Blick, die null Sinn macht dazuzugeben - tadaaaa fertig ist Mindspeak =D 

Ok, leicht übertrieben, aber genau so hat es sich angefüllt. Das Buch ist voller Geheimnisse, die so langsam aufgelöst werden, das es echt nervig wird. Und das schlimmste...jeder in diesem Buch ist ein Lügner, der größte Lügner ist Jack selbst meiner Meinung nach. Und scheinbar liebt es Lexi/Sarah belogen zu werden, immerhin macht es ja jeder und sie nimmts einfach hin. Wenn ich merken würde, dass mich jeder anlügt, würde ich wahrscheinlich austicken. Aber sie gibt nur nen sarkastischen Kommentar von sich, heult n bisschen und das wars. Super Helding! Ich mag sie nicht. Sie ist ein flacher, langweiliger Charakter.

Es war echt kein Spaß das zu lesen, sondern eher wie eine Folter. Warum ich trotzdem 2 Sterne vergebe und nicht einen? Naja...offene Enden machen mich immer neugierig und gegen Ende ist endlich was passiert - etwas das ich nicht vermutet hätte. Das Buch hat eindeutig Potenzial, aber es war absolut nix für mich. Ich werde die Serie abbrechen.


How to write paranormal YA in a few simple steps. Take a girl with special powers, but of course she doesn't know about it. Throw in a "hot" dude (very cool due to his jeans and black t-shirt, which shows his muscles slightly). Then you add a teeny tiny bit of bitch fights and a best friend along with some secrets. You may not forget a biiiiig portion of love at first sight, that doesn't make any sense - tadaaaa done is Mindspeak =D
Ok, that might have been slightly exaggerated, but that is what it felt like to me. This book is full of secrets that get revealed so slowly, that it got annoying. And the worst is...everyone in this book is a liar, biggest liar is Jack himself in my opinion. And it seems that Lexi/Sarah loves being lied to, as everybody is doing it and she just takes it. If I would notice, that everyone is lying at me, I would go freaking nuts at them. But she just throws in a sarcastic comment and QQ's a bit and that is it. Way to go, heroine. I don't like her. She is a flat and dull character.
I didn't have fun reading this book, actually it was like torture. Why 2 stars then and not 1? Well...open endings get me curious and towards the end stuff happened that I did not expect at all. The book has potential, but it just wasn't my thing. I don't think I will follow the whole series. For now I got enough.

Der Grund, warum ich es mir geholt habe war das es kostenlos war und dieses traumhaft schöne Cover hatte. Die Augen sind einfach der Hammer!
